Octipus is a self-hosted AI workspace for running agents through web, terminal, desktop, messaging, and MCP clients. Version 0.3 is alpha software: core workflows are implemented, but interfaces and deployment guidance can still change.
Tools and skills
Built-in tools, discovered skills, and optional MCP servers extend agents. Permission rules control tool execution.

Use the browser UI, terminal clients, Tauri desktop client, supported messaging channels, or standalone MCP server.
Authentication and permissions
Password sessions, optional passkeys and TOTP, encrypted stored secrets, and ALLOW / ASK / DENY rules are available. Review the threat model before exposing a deployment.
